To obtain a Club Permit with Absolute Society, please see the below steps:
Club Permits (also known as Club Registration/Plates) are a VicRoads initiative that allows vehicle owners to register their cars at significantly reduced costs.
With a Club Permit, owners can drive their vehicles for either 45 or 90 days per year, paying an annual registration fee of $85 or $170, respectively
To be eligible, the vehicle must be at least 25 years and one month old with a valid Certificate of Roadworthiness (RWC), and the owner must be a member of a VicRoads-approved car club (hopefully you choose us!).
In addition to reduced registration fees, members with club permits in Victoria also enjoy an exemption from vehicle stamp duty when transferring ownership and can apply for limited-use insurance policies, providing significant financial benefits.
Our membership offers multiple tier levels to suit your needs. We offer basic access with a single Club Permit, to premium tiers that include exclusive merchandise and unlimited club permits.
Absolute Society conducts membership on a pro-rata basis.
The pro-rata calculation for the initial joining fee is broken into quarters and based on the quarterly join date, with all members requiring to pay their full membership fee on the 1st of July each year.

Renewing your club permit with Absolute is easy and straightforward.
Yearly payment is required to maintain membership, payable on the 01/07/2025. We will reach out to you in June to ensure your membership selection is paid and up to date.
We will provide you with the necessary renewal paperwork, so you can conveniently upload it to your myVicRoads portal or take it to your local VicRoads office by your registration due date.
If your registration is due before July 2025, please fill out the below form and we will process your renewal request with a prorated calculation within two business days.

Your VicRoads registration renewal date remains unchanged. A new Club Permit label for your log book is provided, signifying the club name change to Absolute Society.
After you’ve reached out to us and provided payment, vehicle scrutineering and photos are provided, we will provide:
Simply take the VESD, CPA, and transfer forms to VicRoads to complete the transfer process.
The membership fee is calculated on a pro-rata basis, dependent on the tier you select.
